The CBS-TV hit series "Without a Trace" featured a boy with Autism on their Thursday Night February 3rd, 2006 episode entitled "Volcano." The young boy bolts and runs while on a field trip from school and is lost in a New York City museum. The boy's father is called in to locate his son with with Care Trak tracking equipment.

"The show was an opportunity to demonstrate to parents who have special needs kids how the home tracking system works. The show will also bring awareness to the general public of the growing epidemic of Autism."

"Without A Trace" is the second major network television show to use Care Trak tracking equipment. Previously the producers of "Extreme Make Over Home Edition" on ABC-TV used Care Trak tracking equipment for the Larry Vardon family of Oak Park, Michigan.
